The Norvick neighborhood is of great historical significance: It bears witness to Canada’s contribution to the war effort, as this sector is one of the 163 neighborhoods built in Canada by Wartime Housing Limited during World War II. The Norvick neighborhood is unique, as it is the only residential development of workers’ homes built in Montréal by Wartime Housing Limited during that time.

Le quartier Norvick revêt une grande importance historique : Il témoigne de la contribution du Canada à l'effort de guerre, car ce secteur est l'un des 163 quartiers construits au Canada par Wartime Housing Limited pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
