I saw this skirt all over my Pinterest feed, so I decided to do the only reasonable thing: sew it myself and find out if it actually looks good or if it just looks good on the model.
In this video, I recreate a popular Pinterest skirt and test the design in real life. We’re talking fumbling my way through fit, proportion, silhouette, and whether the “effortless” look is actually good pattern design or just very good styling (and a very slim body).
This isn’t a tutorial, more of a sewing reality check.
