But his murder in 1980 signaled the beginning of a violent mob war and struggle for power. Gone are the traditional ways of the mafia, to be replaced with a younger generation out to make fast money, encapsulated by the values of greed and entrepreneurship. But while this new breed of mobster was looking for ways to make a quick buck, another battle is being waged.
