Beautiful drive through the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. The drive begins west of Ten Sleep and goes east on US Hwy 16 to Buffalo, Wyoming.
Located in north-central Wyoming, the Bighorn Mountains are a sister range of the Rocky Mountains. The Bighorns are a popular destination for hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, hunting, horse back riding and increasingly ATV riding and snowmobiling. Fishing opportunities abound in the Bighorns, with a high prevalence of brook trout. Camping is available at many established campgrounds with facilities, or across most of the national forest.
