The Dark Tide: an apocalyptic setting idea for D&D worldbuilding

Описание: Welcome to a new series of videos where I'll walk you through several concepts, ideas, locations, characters and others from my homebrewed setting of Arcadia. These videos serve a dual purpose: give you ideas to inspire your D&D campaigns, but also share some lore with new players that are about to join my table and want to immerse themselves in the lore before starting to play.

The Dark Tide is the apocalyptic event that is behind the core concept of my world, as it is in the moment. It's not simply an apocalypse, but rather an alignment of apocalyptic evens - each an armaggedon in their own right - but which together compose the perfect storm. In summary, it's what happens when the campaigns to defeat the bad guys scattered around your world all fail and the villains win.
