Hi, I'm James, and today I'm going to tell you about a few of the features of the hydraulic hand dynamometer. It's made of sturdy, strong metal, so it is quite weighty. It comes with a safety strap that you should get people to wear at all times, just in case you drop it. They're not cheap.

Now, the hydraulic hand dynamometer has adjustable grip strength settings. So if you have a small hand, you can pull the handle back this way and then quite easily just flick this little catch there. The handle comes out, and you can quite simply move it for the bigger hand, and then just do the
catch back up, like that.

The casing at the top has rubberized backing here, just for a little bit of extra strength in case it does get a bit of a bump. It is a delicate machine though. If you zoom up, you can see the peak hold needle is the red needle, and that will stay at the peak hold position so you can take a reading of the grip strength until you turn the needle back to zero. So again, the peak hold needle is the red one that turns back to zero.

That's pretty much it. That's the hydraulic hand dynamometer. A great piece of kit and good for anyone who needs to be testing grip strength.
