Petite Scarf : how to knit tutorial

Using a DK weight yarn (I’ve used Drops Baby Merino - a nice soft yarn)
#6US needles

Cast on 7 stitches
Using US#6 DP needles (easier to handle)
Knit across the row until 3 sts left on needle
Yarn forward,
Slip 3 stitches
Turn work
Knit to 3 sts left on needle, yarn forward, slip those 3 stitches

Keep increasing on the right hand side only
Until you’ve reached 28 stitches or your desired width
I increase to 28 stitches, or 3 1/2 to 4” wide

Once you’ve reached the desired width,
Continue knitting until your work measures about 36” to 45”
(Once again, whatever desired length you want)

When you’ve reached the desired length
Begin decreasing only on the right hand side by
Knitting the first three stitches and then
Knit two together (2tog)

Decrease until you have 7 stitches left.
Bind off
Sew the end in to make a point.
