The location in the Mendip Hills I used to visit the most in the early to mid 1990s was the village of Priddy, so that's where this film takes us today.

As well as looking around Priddy, I go on a circular walk of about 4½ miles, which includes a visit to some pools within a nature reserve and some ancient barrows.

I hope you enjoy watching "Pools of Priddy", a film featuring my favourite part of the Mendip Hills.

Filmed in the Mendip Hills in the county of Somerset. Locations include Priddy, Velvet Bottom, Priddy Mineries, Priddy Nine Barrows and Ashen Hill Barrows.

Written, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach.

Any other names credited in this film, i.e. Bob Morgan and Martin Roy, are pseudonyms, which I used at the time of making this film. However, I no longer use these pseudonyms as I want viewers to be clear that my films are completely my own work.
