I had not planned to make a Michael x Ryan video tonight, but I was re-watching the deleted scene from the S2 Valentine's Day episode where Michael gives out roses to all the women in the office and then lingers with the last one, looking purposefully in Ryan's direction... ugh, the yearning!!

This video is more of a clip show than anything with fancy effects, but it felt like it fit and I tried to make the clips relevant. Main themes are loneliness, yearning, and Michael struggling with coming to terms with his sexuality. He's deeply in love with Ryan and haunted by thoughts of him all the time, so much that he stares longingly at him when he thinks the documentary cameras aren't filming him, rambles about him to his current girlfriends, writes about him in his diary... Ryan is all too aware of Michael's crush, but whether or not he eventually reciprocates his feelings is unknown.

(This song is one I've had on my playlist for them for quite some time. I mostly imagine the melancholic feelings in the song are what Ryan feels when -- spoiler alert! -- Michael leaves Dunder Mifflin and gets engaged to Holly.)
