In this video, I unbox a brand new set of Peter Henderson Heritage Viking bagpipes (Model PH1 HV) sent to me by Alistair Dunn and the team at R.G. Hardie & Co. in Scotland. This Heritage Viking model is absolutely packed with detail, and up close it’s a total conversation piece.

You’ve got boxwood mounts in the classic Henderson profile, matching engraved nickel, and the wood itself is intricately laser-engraved with Viking-inspired patterns. I also show you the symbols and runic inscriptions on the pipes.
