Losing my job wasn’t part of the plan, not gonna lie. Just a month before I got laid off, I was debating whether to quit and pursue YouTube full-time, but I ultimately decided against it. Turns out, the choice wasn’t even mine to make in the end.

When I got the call from my manager, it was a Friday night, my last workday before my vacation. I’ve had plenty of jobs before, but this was the first time I felt so replaceable. I've gone through many ups and downs throughout that period because there was a lot of uncertainty about money and my future. But I decided to embrace the free time that I had and make the most of it while I can!

I'm gonna be honest, content creation felt very unnatural to me. I never liked being on camera, and I had no idea how to edit or film. But my love for cooking kept me going, and with practice, everything started to feel easier and easier.

This chapter of my life has been like a breath of fresh air. And even though I don’t know if I’ll succeed, it gave me a completely new perspective, and excited to see where it takes me.
