Grant searched on CNBC the other day on the topic of mortgages and on one page he saw 6 different subject lines about mortgages. For example, "Mortgage applications up 6%" vs."Mortgage application down 4%"—just conflicting data. Why do people give up on learning? Is it laziness, being too comfortable, skeptical, or being a know-it-all? Grant believes it's either people believe they know-it-all or they are skeptical now because they tried and failed in the past. So many people have gone to school for 17 years learning nothing. When you remove false knowledge, answers are there.
