Volcanic mountains Pangrango & Gede, Indonesia, 2024

Описание: Pixie went to India for a week and i came to Indonesia. While waithing for her i went to Pangrango and Gede mountains. There are 3 entrances Cibodas, Putri and another one. Cibodas is the easiest one also the clossest to Jakarta. I recommend you to book a hotel near Putri entrance so you could enter through Putri and exit through Cibodas (so you could take a hot spring bath after tiring day). it will take around 15-20 min by Grab bike to reach your hotel from Cibodas (i rented Reddoorz) and go hiking as early as possile. I left hotel at around 5am. There are ticket counters at each entrance (Ticket is 320k IDR on weekday and 450IDR on weekend). but if you come before 6 am you can enter for free and you have to leave after 6-7 pm. This is a must visit place if you like hiking. Take water and food with you. There will be a free water point at the post 5 and you can refill your bottle. The view is amazing. Also it's super windy and a bit cold on the top (i went in August)
