Описание: Dozens of shop owners and locals rushed to Accra's Kantamanto Market after a massive blaze destroyed over 100 shops at one of the world's largest second-hand textiles markets on Thursday.

Footage shows the market reduced to rubble and smoke. Locals can be seen assessing the damage left behind and sorting through piles of debris as firefighters continued to battle some flames at the scene.

"I [had a] call around 2:30 am. So somebody called me [saying] that Kanta (Kantamanto) is burning. And before I came, reaching to my shop, even I didn't know my shop again," said one owner.

"Everything is gone. You know, I'm the chairman for the market with over 3,000 members," said another shop owner and community representative. "Everything gone."
