Описание: Welcome to on-base housing in Grafenwoehr. This cozy little family room has plenty of room for you and your family. There’s 110 and 220v outlets in every room, as well as wall heaters and ceiling fans. You can bring your own furniture, or the government can provide you with their standard inventory in the meantime.

*Correction: this is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath (not 2). Also the square footage is 1,065.

Your private balcony has beautiful autumn views of the Bavarian forest, and you’ll notice there’s a screen door to keep bugs out.

Speaking of outside, this is walking distance from your new apartment:

Basketball court
Dog park
Elementary school

Most government houses are dual voltage which is very convenient for you when bringing all your American appliances. What’s not convenient, are the concrete walls. On the upside, you won’t hear too much noise from neighbours, but have you tried drilling in a concrete wall? Not easy. Go to “self help” for heavy duty drills.

This house has a pretty nice size kitchen, appliances are all included except a microwave. Storage space is limited, but there’s room to put an extra cabinet.

Both the guest bedroom and master have built in closets, but curtains aren’t included.

The only full bathroom has an adequate amount of space, again, dual voltage for your appliances and dual vanity.

You’ll find more storage in the hallway as linen closets, as well as plenty of storage space downstairs.

And finally, your most convenient grown up amenity in the house, your private laundry room. Appliances included.
