Actor Leo Gorcey rose to fame as leader of a group of young hooligans known variously as the Dead End Kids, The East Side Kids and, as adults, The Bowery Boys. Leo’s life was filled with years of alcohol abuse and self destruction, which led to his untimely death in 1969 at the young age of 51.
