The state botanical garden is situated on the beautiful landscape of Nandankanan Wildlife Sanctuary hammed between two wetlands namely Kanjia and Kiakani. It is located 20 K.M. away from the state capital Bhubaneswar. State Botanical garden is one of the pioneer plant conservation and nature education Centre of the state, established in the year 1963 and was under the management of Horticulture department. The management of state botanical garden was handed over to Nandankanan on 1st of August 2006. The Garden Spreads. of green and mesmerizing landscape (including the Kiakani lake ). Nature's symphony and the beautiful touch of the forests are certain to impress the visitors coming to this botanical garden.
