Anarchy (C64 Longplay)

Описание: Released in late 1987 on Hewson's £2.99 Rack-It label.

Anarchy is essentially a strategic puzzle-shooter whereby you must destroy all possible blocks on each level then locate the exit. Blocks cannot be destroyed if your tank is directly beside them, there must be a space of at least 1 gap. Also, once the exit appears your tank is no longer able to shoot, so it's useful to have to final block as near to the exit as possible!

There are 2 different enemies. One of them can be stunned for a few seconds, whilst the other mimics the path your tank has followed.

Each of the 16 levels have their own time limit. Things begin calmly, but really heat up towards the end! Oh, and if you lose a life the entire level must be completed again from scratch!

The level designs are ingenious. Massive kudos to the creators mind! Special mention also to the highly original SFX, which often resemble a piano with several notes being played simultaneously! I began with the 6581 chip for levels 1 to 8, then changed to 8580 for levels 9 to 13, before returning to 6581 for the final 3 levels (8580 was extremely quiet - presumably a WinVice bug).

The game is very playable and responsive, and for £2.99 represents great value!
