Day 5 of Sick Smokies wasn’t about racing — it was all about the drive! We started off back on the Foothills Parkway, then tackled the legendary Tail of the Dragon — an 11-mile stretch packed with 318 curves, one of the most famous driving roads in America. After that, we turned up the heat with the extra spicy twisty miles of the Cherohala Skyway, winding through the mountains with incredible views in every direction.
Our first checkpoint was at Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort, the home base for Dragon slayers, then we rolled through Middle Ocoee Put-In before wrapping up the day at Twin Peaks, where Chris from WAF Racing capped it all off with a fat burnout!
