I've been a busy beaver 🦫...fitting being I'm a Canadian...teehee. No really, I've be insanely busy the last few weeks as I'm sure many of you are too. With Holiday Season now in FULL SWING...I've been glazing and firing my kiln getting ready for my biggest HOLIDAY POP UP MARKET of the season literally days away. I'm sharing a small load, but I have some NEW CERAMIC GLAZE COMBOS that are PERFECT for the holiday season.

This exciting GLAZE KILN OPENING has some stunning pieces and as usual I use only COMMERCIAL BRUSH ON GLAZES. From MAYCO, AMACO, SPECTRUM, PSH and TUCKERS. Of course, I've got some GORGEOUS PINK GLAZES and some other colours too! So if you are not a PINK fan...that's ok...I got some other gorgeous ceramic glaze combos for you too!

I was nervous opening up this kiln load as I didn't do any tests with the new glaze combos and glaze layering that I came up with...and we all know how important it is to test out our glaze combos and clay fitness. I was pleasantly surprised, but then again not really, as YOU KNOW how much I love the other FLOATING GLAZES Spectrum makes!!

Sorry I wasn't able to show 'before' pictures...I've been just scrambling to get these pots into the kiln that I've not had the time. Beginning in December, things will slow down a bit for me as my Fall Pottery Classes that I teach will have ended, so that means more time to create pottery and share with you all!

Also, this is a totally beginner potter friendly video so no matter what stage of your pottery practice you too can follow along and steal some of my combos.

I only use commercial glazes from all the big brands available; AMACO – Celadon & Potter’s Choice, MAYCO, LAGUNA, SPECTRUM, COYOTE. I also use some pottery supply store’s house glazes and I’ve researched and know that they are available in North America. TUCKER’s and POTTERY SUPPLY HOUSE (PSH).
