▪Depression is a common psychiatric disorder/ mental illness.
In this video📹, Dr. Ankit Goel discuss about depression and its symptoms in Hindi.
The symptoms of depression include sadness of mood, loss of interest in work, decreased energy, lack of concentration, sleep disturbances, changes in appetite, psychomotor activity disturbance, thoughts about self-harm or attempt and guilt/ worthlessness.
Five or more of these symptoms (out of which at least one of them is sadness of mood or loss of interest) should be present for at least 2 weeks to make a diagnosis of Depression

डिप्रेशन के लक्षण हैं : मन की उदासी, काम में मन न लगना , थकान, ध्यान की कमी, नींद न आना भूख न लगना, अपने आपको नुक्सान पहुँचाने के ख्याल, साइकोमोटर गतिविधि की समस्या और ग्लानि की भावना |
पांच या अधिक लक्षण (जिनमें से कम से कम एक उदासी या रूचि खतम होना है) डिप्रेशन का निदान करने के लिए कम से कम 2 सप्ताह तक मौजूद रहना चाहिए |
