Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, addressed the gathering during the Inaugural Ceremony via video conferencing. In his remarks, the Prime Minister noted that in this new edition of India Energy Week, representatives from nearly 125 countries have gathered in Goa. He highlighted that participants have come together to deliberate on pathways towards an energy-secure and sustainable future, and extended a warm welcome to all delegates.

Held at ONGC ATI, Goa, the inaugural session set the strategic tone for the 4th edition of India Energy Week, focusing on energy security, sustainability, innovation, and global collaboration. The programme reflected India’s growing role at the centre of the global energy landscape.

As India’s flagship global energy platform, India Energy Week 2026 convenes stakeholders across the entire energy value chain to advance secure, sustainable, and affordable energy solutions for the future.
