Turning Point USA launches ‘All American Halftime Show’

Описание: Turning Point USA leaders say a new halftime-style concert was born out of years of cultural criticism and growing dissatisfaction with mainstream entertainment.

During an interview with The National News Desk, Andrew Kolvet, Turning Point USA's spokesperson, said the idea for the “All-American Halftime Show” evolved organically — beginning with a 2014 social media post by Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk criticizing halftime performances.

According to Kolvet, Kirk frequently commented on halftime shows over the years, sometimes drawing widespread attention online. As public debate intensified around recent pop culture performances, Turning Point leaders said they saw an opportunity to create what they describe as a family-friendly alternative.
