Six months have passed, and Ling Xiaomang's recovery at the snow leopard enclosure continues to improve. From day 171 to day 231, we have been documenting his daily life. The little guy who was once near death in the snow has now fully adapted to life here—he excitedly climbs and explores everywhere in the first snow, skillfully plays on swings and with balls, has learned to use a designated bathroom spot, and bravely challenges himself to jump onto walls. The changes in his sleeping posture best reflect his inner transformation: from initially curling up defensively in corners to now sleeping sprawled out without any guard, even hugging the edge of his nest box while sleeping. The little guy has become increasingly rounded and healthy, the scars on his face are gradually healing, and he maintains a friendly attitude toward humans, often taking the initiative to interact with visitors and staff members. Despite his tragic past, Ling Xiaomang has always maintained an optimistic and positive attitude toward life. Each of his growth milestones makes us believe: life has resilience, and warmth echoes back.
