Описание: http://www.TerryBryant.com. What does board certification mean? Board certification is an important indicator of attorney competence. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization oversees board certification of attorneys in a variety of different fields. One of those is personal injury trial law. There are approximately 1.5 percent of all attorneys in Texas that are board certified in personal injury trial law. There are certain requirements that one must meet in order to become board certified. For instance, an attorney must have practiced law for at least 5 years, tried a certain number of cases, taken an exam that takes 6 hours and of course passed it, gotten good evaluations from other attorneys and judges. Being board certified is certainly no guarantee that an attorney is good or competent but it is I think a strong indicator that the attorney is serious about that particular field of law and has recommendations of his or her peers, some judges, is competent enough to have tried a certain number of cases and passed a rigorous examination. So I think it's an important thing to consider when considering what attorney to hire.
