An allegation of third-degree torture by police has surfaced from the Hatabazar area under Sadar Police Station in Jagatsinghpur district. According to the complaint, a minor boy was allegedly subjected to third-degree treatment by the police.

The minor was reportedly brought to the police station in connection with allegations against his father, who has been accused of theft and illegal possession of a firearm. It is alleged that during this process, the minor was subjected to police torture.
