It looks like that after so many years fighting for the control of the region where this city is located these two countries finally have found the formula to live in peace. Strasbourg is a magical gothic city that treasures the flavor of both cultures. Its is the 8th largest city of France and the seat of many of the European Union institutions. It is known as the capital of Christmas. My wife and I enjoyed the visit to this beautiful city and I strongly recommend it!
