Bulgaria's government has collapsed after only six months in power,... following a vote of no-confidence by lawmakers.
The vote against Prime Minister Kiril Petkov means that unless he can propose an alternative government, Bulgaria will face its fourth general election since April 2021.
The no-confidence vote was made with 123 in favor and 116 opposed.
It comes after the ruling coalition lost its majority over disputes about the budget and North Macedonia's bid to join the EU.
Petkov has had a pro-European and pro-NATO stance following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, while Bulgaria has strong historical ties with Moscow.
