Police Dog Yogi uses his super sense of smell to track down a runaway suspect after a police car is rammed in tonight’s action-packed episode of Police Interceptors.
PD Yogi and his handler were called in after colleagues reported their vehicle was reversed into and the driver ran off following a pursuit in the Radford area of Nottingham.
The clever canine, who is trained in a number of disciplines including finding people by using the wind or ground, quickly picked up the driver’s scent.
His skilful tracking led him down an alleyway to a gated courtyard area where a suspect was arrested.
After he was set on the suspect’s trail, it took PD Yogi just three minutes to sniff him out during the early hours of 24 April 2022.
