Watch pigs from an Innovative Farmers’ trial trampling bracken stems, encouraged to do so when farmers throw small pellets (for them to eat) into the flora. The pigs are some of the livestock used in our ‘Managing bracken with livestock and associated environmental outcomes’ field lab.
The field lab is looking at effective methods of managing bracken that will have a positive impact on both the farmers and wider custodians of these landscapes.
