The UK Home Office has released footage showing foreign national offenders being deported before their appeals are heard, as the government widens its “deport now, appeal later” policy.
The expansion adds 15 countries, including India, Bulgaria, and Australia, bringing the total to 23. Under the scheme, individuals whose human rights claims against removal have been rejected can be removed and have any subsequent appeals heard from overseas via video link.
