The Warning and Illumination of Conscience will be a profound moment of decision for mankind, a final warning to all of humanity.

Mystics and visionaries have described it as a “judgment in miniature”, a moment where everyone will see their soul as God sees it.

This Illumination, often referred to as “The Warning”, will be a last chance for the world to change its course and return back to God.

Scripture refers to it in the opening of the 6th seal where an event occurs that is so grand that every person on earth attempts to hide from the phenomenon they are witnessing, but to no avail.

Every man, woman and child would recognize Jesus as the true Son of God, and almost all will repent; at least for a little while anyway.

The following comes from Revelation, chapter 6:12-17:

"And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair: and the whole moon became as blood: And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a great wind: And the heaven departed as a book folded up: and every mountain, and the islands were moved out of their places.

And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and tribunes, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of mountains: And they say to the mountains and the rocks: Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of their wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand? "

Saint Faustina received messages in regards to the coming warning for the world and shared them in her famous diary.

In the 1920s, Jesus said the following to her: "Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My Mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable Mercy.

It is a sign for the end times; after it , will come the day of justice.

While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My Mercy; let them profit from the Blood and water which gushed forth for them.

He who does not pass through the gates of My Mercy must pass through the gates of justice.

Before I come as the just judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy.

Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:

All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be a great darkness over the whole earth.

Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time.

This will take place shortly before the last day."

We stand on God’s sure promises that He will be faithful in the midst of tribulation.

How are we to prepare ourselves?

Prayer, examination of conscience, frequent reception of the sacraments, reading scripture, all of these things help us to prepare for the end of time.

The Great Warning is not something to be feared, we will see our sinfulness before God and then work on purifying ourselves, this is something we should be doing each day.
