All Bosch Generation 5 e-bike motors with a two-point motor mount use two small plastic bushings to connect the motor bolts to the frame. From model year 2025 onwards, Bosch introduced a new version featuring smooth sleeves instead of ribbed inserts. This update also comes with new motor bolts. If required, you can easily replace the old frame bushings with the new sleeves yourself. In this tutorial, I show you which parts you need and what you should pay attention to during the upgrade.
