The Mincio cycle path is a route that connects Peschiera del Garda to Mantua, following the course of the Mincio river.
The cycle path crosses the Mincio regional natural park, a protected area that involves the river valley from Lake Garda to its confluence with the Po river
The route is 45 km long and is suitable for everyone, since it has a modest height difference, it's completely paved and isolated from car traffic.
The cycle path runs along the Mincio river up to Pozzolo, where a variant starts that leads to Volta Mantovana.
From here on, the trail moves away from the Mincio river and continues along the canals of the Mantuan countryside until reaching Mantua
The naturalistic variety of the path, which goes from the moraine hills to the plains, from the watercourses to the Mantuan lakes make the cycle path an interesting alternative, or a possible continuation, of the Destra del Po cycle route.
