RUNNING A RED!? Railroad Crossing | Elm Street, Downtown Sudbury, ON

Описание: Watch this VIA train with Budd RDC duo crawl through the crossing passing a stop signal! For those who may ask, the train was on the farthest track, which is protected by the signal you see in the video. The train had to do an equipment move by crossing over to the closest track from the farthest track. This must have been the same situation as what happened on Boxing Day, where the switches had issues and they had to manually throw them, and eventually the RTC allowed them to proceed through the stop signal (rule 564).

This crossing is located on Mile 79.40 on the CP (CPKC) Cartier subdivision. All four signals were installed in early 2020s. The gated signals replaced older WCH gated signals and the exit cantilevers replaced older gateless signal masts.
