Masterclass with Jose Miguel Ramos Aracena AKA Bomberito, filmed at Villa Duarte, Santo Domingo in January 2013. Bomberito is a reknowned figure in the Dominican music scene. He has toured Europe, South America and the Caribbean and has performed with Tata Guines, Mongo Santamaria, Ray Barreto, Tito Puente, Oscar De Leon, The London Symphony Orchestra and many more. Bomberito learned his craft through constant performing and studies at the National Conservatorium of Music in Santo Domingo. He plays many different percussion instruments including drums, congas, tambora, timbales, bongo, tympani, guira and vibraphone.
