Do you trust the police?

We are told that the police are there to protect us, to keep us safe; and for the most part they do… right?

Well, this is a sentiment that is getting harder and harder to agree with for most people. I don't think it's a secret that public trust in police around the world is eroding, a few bad apples really do spoil the bunch in this case and it's sad because there are many officers of the law that are exemplary people with near flawless records. But these people are getting harder to appreciate with every terrible story we hear of a police officer abusing their position and authority.

Because Sarah Everard trusted the police. She trusted that the people in charge would make sure they are giving that responsibility and power to safe individuals, and she can't be blamed for that. Sadly, the last person Sarah would see before her life was ripped away from her would be a man who is supposed to protect her from the very thing he was doing.

This is the story of Sarah Everard and how one police officer singlehandedly destroyed an already broken relationship between the people and law enforcement, a story about why things might never be the same… or if they even should be.

Editors note: Just want to say for the record that i DO NOT believe this is his only crime... i stay away from conjecture and speculation in the video but this man IMO has done this before. To be able to keep so cool and to buy things so obviously he is either really really stupid (he is not) or just got lax. I dont beleive he is stupid, he is a dangerous manipulative predator and this doesnt happen over night IMO. Listen to that interview he did at home... doesnt miss a beat, literally plays it up loads. great actor & completely insane. RIP Sarah, i feel so deeply for her. cant even imagine how scared she must of been. hopefully this dude gets some real justice in jail, if you know what i mean. all been well he is padded up with a big dude who likes men.
