Описание: In addition to using traditional extension attributes to store client information in the JSS, we store some useful information locally on each client. This "reverse extension attribute" data is stored in what we call a "host info" file. There are more than a dozen pieces of data in our host info file that are used for a variety of tasks. This session will explore setting up a host info file and a few different methods of populating the data, including API queries, script output and timestamps. We will also discuss how to use the host file in conjunction with Jamf Pro policies and notifications to execute a robust macOS patching system on a fleet of Macs.
