On Friday, February 25th, I had my eye on filming short line operations in central Tennessee. After a failed attempt at catching the South Central Tennessee Railroad (SCTR) that morning, I headed into Nashville with hopes of shooting some of music city's Class III offerings.
The day officially started out around noon, when I found a Nashville and Eastern railroad (NERR) job switching their yard next to the Tennessee Central railroad museum with two former BNSF units on the point.
After watching this job for just over an hour, I made my way to the PSC metals plant on the Cumberland River, where their former Conrail, nee-PRR NW-2 was working.
I ended the day catching the Nashville and Western Railroad (NWR) switching near their headquarters with two former CSX units.
