Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, Permanent Representative, highlighted India’s remarkable achievement of lifting 250 million in a decade out of multidimensional poverty at the United Nations Security Council Open Debate on Poverty, Underdevelopment and Conflict.

He showcased Indian experience of leveraging DPI for inclusive growth and development, as a means to strengthen conflict prevention and Peacebuilding efforts.

He underscored the deepening SDG financing gaps, especially for developing countries in this context and reiterated 🇮🇳’s commitment to development projects, particularly in the Global South, that now cumulatively exceeds USD 40 billion.
