The No. 6 University of Minnesota volleyball team defeated Washington State in four sets, 25-16, 25-13, 24-26, 25-20 tonight at Maturi Pavilion.
Taylor Landfair tallied 16 kills and seven digs to lead the Gophers while Carter Booth went for a career-high 12 kills and two blocks. Mckenna Wucherer added in a new career-best 15 kills and three blocks.
As a team, Minnesota hit .364, had nine team blocks, 42 digs and eight aces. Washington State (8-3, 0-0 Pac-12) hit .192, had five team blocks, 43 digs and four aces.
