This is the new Victron Energy Lynx Shunt.
The Lynx range has 4 products:
Lynx power in
Lynx smart shunt
Lynx smart BMS
Lynx distribuitor
The shunt is a bidirectional counter that measure te amount of amps that is going in and out from battery.
All DC systems that use batteries in order to have real SOC must use a shunt to measure the amps from battery.
It’s fully compatible whit Victron Energy ecosystem and all information is broadcasted via CAN to GX device and shown in Victron Energy VRM portal. The shunt can only comunicate via CAN, so no Bluetooth and direct connection whit Victron Connect APP.
The app can be still be used via VRM and thought internet connection.
