This highly original, purpose-built 1981 Ferrari 512 BB LM "Le Mans" was guest to the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2023 in Cernobbio (Italy) which also allowed to experience the sound of this awesome race car - start up, revs, idling - and to admire the Flat-12 engine which produced ca. 350kW out of 5-Liters displacement with a top-speed of ca. 320 km/h.
Sold in 2021 for almost 2 million Euros at an auction, this Ferrari 512 BB LM has the reputation of being one of the best-preserved automobiles of this type and it also possesses a unique, flat, tapering front-end. In 1981 and 1984, the race car started in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Italian racing team Scuderia Bellancauto, and also campaigned in races at Monza and Imola.
