Matt has been to yet another new heritage railway (for him at least) as he has been to Leicestershire to visit the 10 mile, double track Great Central Railway for their Winter Steam Gala.
The Heritage Line, which runs from Leicester North up to Loughborough, had an extensive timetable with a mix of home and guest locomotives working the line.
Highlights include:
Watching a mixture of guest and home steam trains departing various stations along the railway
Looking at a mixture of different diesel locomotives parked up at Loughborough
Showing off good vantage points (and different filming angles) whilst having a steam shower!
