69 animals living in 'deplorable conditions' rescued from Northwest Florida home

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- Dozens of animals are safe after being found in an Okaloosa County home this week.
The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) says they discovered cats, dogs, and exotic animals living in squalor.
Many of them were found crammed inside dirty cages and locked in bedrooms. Inside the shelter right now, there are 69 animals that were found living in filth in the home.
