This tutorial builds off of our original paper mache jack o lanterns tutorials we uploaded several years ago. This is part 1 of a multi segment tutorial with updated tips and tricks for creating paper mache jack 'o lanterns.
Tools & materials: strip mached pumpkin form from a balloon, plastic grocery bag, etc., paper mache paste, paint brush, various sculpting/smoothing tools, paper mache clay, markers, scissors, corrugated cardboard, knife or box cutter, thin flexible cardboard, hot glue gun/sticks, carboard tube.
Part 2 is coming soon where we carry on building our Jack o Lanterns using more tips and tricks along the way.
