Here is 264174 one of the few Diesel Autocar ACX Gomez FLs that Burrtec has and it’s the only one that resides in the Yucca Valley yard. I believe the body on this truck was taken from an older diesel truck and they just slapped it onto a somewhat newer diesel Autocar Chassis and it’s also really interesting that it has adjustable forks on it. This normally does the City portion of Twentynine Palms, it replaced 207711, an older autocar WX Gomez that has since been scrapped. They’ve had this truck for 2 years already and I’ve been wanting to film this truck for a while now and about 2 weeks ago I finally had the opportunity to go visit the Yucca Valley yard again and we were hoping to find this truck. And after driving around 29 Palms we were able to find it and with the driver running the truck super good it was very entertaining to watch.
I definitely plan on going back up to Yucca Valley as soon as possible because there is a couple more trucks I want to catch. For sure one of my favorite Burrtec yards around!
