How to install LED halo rings in your headlights

Описание: This is a instructional video on how to install LED Halo rings(Angel Eyes) in your stock headlights. now this process will be different for most cars but this will give you the basic concept on how to do it yourself for about $30 total.

Step One: Remove headlights (Please note this will be different for most cars.) On the mustang we had to remove the factory bumper to remove all screws on headlight.

Step Two: Remove the front cover lens off of the headlight, the headlights are usually glued on so its easier to put them face up in the oven with the lens facing upwards so you don't damage it, on 170 degrees for roughly 10 minutes. make sure no screws or clips are holding it on while using a screw driver or plastic pry tool to remove the lens. DO NOT RUSH. you don't to damage cover

Step Three: Install the LED Halos in factory headlight. try to avoid the chrome part of the headlight as much as possible. That projects your headlights brighter and clearer. we driller two little holes on the top and bottom to zip tie them both evenly on and to run the wire out of the healight.

Step Four: Reglue the headlight lens back on to the headlight assembly. you can use clear silicone to reseal it back up tight. also while you have the bottle out put some around the holes of the zip ties and wires to prevent any water from getting into the headlight.

Step Five: Reinstall your headlights back into vehicle.

Step Six: Wire your headlights. Two Wires will be coming out of the Remote box. the ground wire and the hot wire. wire the Ground wire onto a solid piece of metal on the vehicle. then run a wire directly to the battery of the vehicle or you can wire it to a switch then onto a hot fuse in your fuse box. this way you can use the lights without getting out of your car.

if you run the switch you can turn them on and off within the car, if not the remote will not be able to turn them on and off from within the car. i ran the remove sensor out by my hood latch so when im outside of the car i can point at the grill and change the color, speed, flash, ect. i also ran a switch inside my car so i can turn them on and off without getting outside of my car

PLEASE NOTE: In most states it is ILLEGAL to drive with RED or BLUE exterior lights on in government parking lots or on State maintained roads. You may drive with the White lights on like i usually do but it wouldn't hurt to look up your local state/county laws on colored headlights
