2. Materials Needed
• White cotton fabric (1.5–2 meters).
• Buttons (6–8 pieces).
• Measuring tape, scissors, and pins.
• Sewing machine or needle & thread.
• A shirt for yoke reference.

3. Cutting Process

Step 1: Cutting the Yoke
• Use a baby shirt as a guide to trace and cut the front and back yoke pieces.
• Add seam allowance while cutting.

Step 2: Cutting the Sleeves
• Cut wide rectangular pieces for ruffled sleeves and mark the armhole curve.

Step 3: Cutting the Layers
• Cut 3 panels for the skirt:
• Top Layer: 12 inches wide.
• Middle Layer: 15 inches wide.
• Bottom Layer: 18 inches wide.
• Each layer should have extra width for gathering.

4. Stitching Process

Step 1: Button Placket
• Fold and stitch the button placket on the front yoke.
• Attach buttons evenly.

Step 2: Assemble the Yoke
• Join the front and back yoke at the shoulders.
• Attach the collar around the neckline.

Step 3: Attach the Sleeves
• Gather the sleeves at the top and attach to the armholes for a ruffled look.

Step 4: Add the Skirt Layers
• Gather the top layer and attach it to the yoke.
• Repeat the process for the middle and bottom layers.

Step 5: Finish the Frock
• Stitch the side seams neatly.
• Hem the bottom edge for a clean finish.
