There's heavy traffic on the river now that the ice has broken up and the ships are sailing again, in force. The Soo Locks are busy as the Great Lakes freighters try to make up for lost time. The video follows the Stewart J Cort as it passes the Pilica and then proceeds through the narrow passage at Sugar Island where it meets the Tecumseh coming the other direction. As the Tecumseh passes, the Sugar Island ferry races across right on the stern of the passing Tecumseh.
